Cairns Birders

Cairns Birders is a friendly group of people who enjoy watching birds around Cairns and Far North Queensland — from absolute beginners to seasoned birdwatchers.

We meet for a gentle walk every Tuesday morning at the Cairns Botanic Gardens, and head further afield on Sunday outings to wetlands, beaches and rainforest around the region.

Everyone is welcome and there’s no membership fee — just bring your binoculars, a hat and some water, and come along.
